MY STORY

My story began when I started to produce my own recipes as a hobby for various magazines published periodically in the UK, now I have decided to create my own recipes for my own food blogging website.

I should mention why I became interested to explore Italian culinary, mainly about the Sicilian and Tuscan food culture, perhaps because I am very partial to Moorish food culture and its unique flavours and aroma produced by many of the ingredients used in today’s modern cuisine. As you can note from various history books, the Moors influence on Sicilian and Tuscan cuisine can be traced to the Arab domination of Sicily in the 8th and 15th centuries, and include the use of apricots, aubergine, almonds, artichokes, cumin, coriander, cardamom, saffron, pomegranate, lemon,  orange, figs, watermelon, ginger, pine nuts, pistachios and walnuts, garlic and cinnamon. A wealth of ingredients which flourished under the Moors, who introduced them to Italy and including the Iberian Peninsula (a mountainous region that is most associated with the countries of Spain and Portugal).

"Good food is the foundation of genuine happiness"

I have a library of over 250 cookbooks, there’s are many variations of food-related publications, Also I own a copy of rare cookery book of Chef Escoffier, I am an admirer of Georges Auguste Escoffier.

Escoffier was unquestionably one of the greatest chefs the world has known and deservedly called the ”King of Chefs and the Chef of Kings’  in his 2,000 Favourite French Recipe book, he looks at everyday cooking and in his introduction claims that the ordinary housewife will find delicious recipes within the limits of her purse.

Cooking Book Reviews

Just like any other book review, any type of food blog focuses on cookbooks, cooking guides and manual reviews. The authors talk about certain cookbooks that they have read and rated them accordingly. Today, with everything on the internet, it is rare to find cookbooks being used. However, for book lovers, food blogs are the perfect guide to what books to read, for a better experience in cooking, or learning about cooking from books.

Restaurant Reviews

Blogs are very popular when searching for restaurants to dine; be it in a city or just a few blocks away from your house. They provide restaurant reviews in terms of food quality, ambiance, service, prices, and anything that makes the eateries stand out positively or negatively. Restaurant review blogs are a more comprehensive version of the “eat out” guide which usually includes tales about the love or hate of the restaurant experience, especially the food. Giving stories either lead to rising or fall of a restaurant.

Brand Name

For a restaurant or café owner choosing a name is a long-term decision, which is all wrapped up with working out what you are trying to sell and identifying why customers will buy from you rather than your competitors. Your proposed product Brand name should encapsulate a message to potential customers.Brands create value by adding an emotional significance that exceeds the basic value of the menu choices and first-class customer services.

In today’s competitive market where there is little to choose between two businesses, It’s the small details that make the difference. Doing things differently can create rewarding and memorable experiences.

Nando’s, despite stiff competition within the fast-food market, has become one of the most popular and well-known restaurants in the UK. Their main meal is one simply grilled chicken served with their different flavoured sauces.

"My Story about the Bella Pollo-The Beautiful Chicken"

Chicken history world and plays an important part in the modern diet, being reasonably priced and nutritionally sound. A versatile meat, it lends itself to an enormous range of cooking methods and cuisines. Its unassertive flavour means that it is equally suited to cooking with so many variations of flavours by adding various forms of ingredients to everyone’s taste bud.

As well as being an excellent source of protein, chicken contains valuable minerals, such as potassium and phosphorous, some of the B vitamins. It is an ideal meat for low cholesterol and calorie-controlled diets. Chicken is sometimes cited as being more healthful than red meat, with lower concentrations of cholesterol and saturated fat.

Chicken as a meat has been depicted in Babylonian carvings from around 600 BC. Chicken was one of the most common meats available in the Middle Ages. It was eaten over most of the Eastern hemisphere and a number of different kinds of chicken such as capons, pullets and hens were eaten. It was one of the basic ingredients in the so-called white dish, a stew usually consisting of chicken and fried onions cooked in milk and seasoned with spices and sugar.   To view some of my BellaPollo recipes Click here

The Super Niche Blogs

These are blogs that focus on a specific subject within the food itself, e.g. vegan blogs, gluten-free blogs, sugar-free baking blogs. These blogs follow eating habits, according to lifestyle choices. They tell stories, authenticity and provide recipes alongside the food a particular group eats. On this occasion I am aiming to introduce a unique brand namely BellaPollo concept. I am presently aiming to launch a dedicated beautiful chicken recipe website; the website would have an appropriate name as Bella Pollo in Italian, it means Beautiful Chicken.
